EuroSite Power Begins Providing Cost Savings to Roko York

Zero Capital CHP System Installed and Commissioned

LONDON, – October 3, 2013 – EuroSite Power Inc., (OTCQB: EUSP) an On-Site Utility, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to hospitality, healthcare, housing and leisure centers in the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe, has announced that it is now operating a combined heat and power (CHP) system supplying clean energy to Roko Health Club, York, UK.  York is the fourth of five sites to go live from contracts with a total revenue value of approximately 7.97 million GBP (12.9 millionUS) over the term of 15 year agreements.

Serving the ‘premium affordable’ health club market, every Roko Health Club provides luxury facilities and programming to their customers at sector beating prices. The clubs have indoor pools with spas, saunas and steam rooms, spacious and well equipped fitness arenas, dedicated group exercise studios, luxury changing rooms and Costa Coffee club lounges.

With the addition of York, EuroSite Power has installed and is operating CHP systems at Roko Health Clubs in York, Gillingham, Nottingham and Portsmouth, while Chiswick is set to be commissioned shortly.  At each site EuroSite Power produces clean energy in the form of electricity, heating and domestic hot water for each health club at a price lower than the club’s current and future energy suppliers.  Because Roko opted for EuroSite’s On-Site Utility solution, the clubs pay only for the energy used and avoid all capital, installation and operating costs.  EuroSite Power also handles all service, maintenance and repair, meaning the clubs will not need to provide manpower to support the energy equipment. The five projects combined will produce approximately 7.9 million kWh of total energy per annum, while saving up to 817 tonnes of CO2 each year.

Neil Stanton, Roko Health Clubs’ Operations Director, said: “We have already seen the benefit of the systems operated by EuroSite Power at Gillingham, Nottingham and Portsmouth. Long-term we anticipate a material reduction in both our annual energy bill and CO2 production. Moreover, these improvements are made without capital outlay to Roko Health Clubs.”

Paul Hamblyn, Managing Director of EuroSite Power, said: “We are pleased to announce that another system has been successfully commissioned as each system becoming operational increases our monthly revenue yet further.  As can be seen from recent contract wins, leisure centres and health clubs remain an important part of our growth strategy, and we continue to pursue these and other large property holders to further accelerate our growth within the UK market.”
